    Master of Public Health (MPH) is an interdisciplinary programme, drawing from social sciences, medicine, management, technology, public policy and law among others.

    The Programme aims to:

    • Equip students with the necessary perspective, knowledge, skill-sets and societal commitment to be able to understand a public health approach to wellbeing;
    • Promote cohorts of young committed public health professionals that, as a body, will have the capacity and aspiration to intervene and change the public health situation of the region
    • Transform public health education and practice into one that is relevant to the vast majority and to the neediest.
    • Develop a capacity within the School to contribute in interventions on local and regional public health challenges, and bring public health back into policy discourse

    The programme is designed to leverage the strengths of Ambedkar University Delhi (AUD) in alignment with its vision, i.e. perceiving public health as an instrument of social justice and transformation. The programme is designed keeping Indian public health concerns and human resource requirements in mind. While it aims to learn from existing public health schools in the country and outside, it also aims to carve its own sphere of influence.

    The Programme expects to have students from a mix of disciplines that includes social sciences, humanities, natural sciences, medicine, paramedical fields, engineering and technology, and other fields
